Sidewalk Vehicles FAQ
Why buy a sidewalk vehicle instead of running a shoveling crew?
One operator on a zero-turn, 4WD sidewalk machine can clear and treat routes that would otherwise take a crew with shovels — with fewer people to staff at 4 a.m. and more consistent results.

SR Scout vs. Snowrator vs. SR MAG — which sidewalk machine is right for me?
The SR Scout is the entry point: the narrowest of the three at 34", with a 4' blade for straightforward sidewalk routes. The Snowrator adds a built-in 20-gallon brine tank so one pass plows and pre-treats. The SR MAG is the heavy hitter — a 747cc fuel-injected Kohler, 8 mph top speed and removable attachments from blades to a broom and snow thrower — for contractors and campuses that run long routes all season.

Will a sidewalk vehicle fit my walkways?
Boss's sidewalk machines run from 34" wide (SR Scout) to about 39" (Snowrator and SR MAG), and all turn in their own footprint. Measure your narrowest pinch point and we'll match a machine to it.
