XT Plow

The XT uses a full-moldboard trip with four springs and a hardened cutting edge, and it's lighter than the DXT. Choose the DXT if you want dual trip and the option of D-Force down pressure for heavy commercial work; otherwise the XT covers most driveway, residential and light commercial plowing.

The 8'2" XT measures 98" in straight position, about 88" in V and about 81" in scoop. Plan on the angled or scoop width when you're judging whether it clears your truck's tires on a pass.

Yes. The XT packages we sell run SL4 LED headlights with Cold Front Technology — one connector that combines power, ground and control. SL4 lights don't work with Boss's older 13-pin wiring, so if you're moving from an older Boss setup we'll check what your truck needs.

No — D-Force isn't offered on the XT. If down pressure matters for your work, look at the DXT or a full-trip Super-Duty straight blade.

Yes. Every Boss truck plow attaches to an undercarriage built for your specific truck. Most full-size Boss plows use the RT3 undercarriage, which also means one plow can move between RT3-equipped trucks in a fleet. The HTX, Heavy-Duty and Drag Pro each use their own undercarriage. We match the mount to your year, make and model as part of the install.

Complete Boss plows and spreaders carry Boss's 2-year limited warranty covering parts and labor from the date of purchase. Separately purchased parts and accessories are covered for 1 year, parts only. The warranty applies to the original buyer from an authorized dealer like us and doesn't transfer to a later owner — one more reason to buy new from a dealer.
